*EXCLUSIVE INTERVEW WITH M*YNCI*
The Heart-Throbs Sit Down to a Five on one Chat with staff reporter Katie Kougra.

Does M*YNCI really need an introduction? With hits such as "Aw, Girl," "Didn't Mean To Treat You Bad," and "So, What's Up With Your Friend?" The fab five have become an almost overnight sensation.

Question: So who founded you guys?

Lumpee B: Well I guess in a way I did. I was a neighbour of Gordo's , and Gordo knew K-Jay and Tobey. The four of us got together and started harmonizing. We realized we were good but we didn't sound complete.

JoJoe: Lumpee was down visiting my mom and he heard me singing to the radio and, well the rest is history.

Q: What is it like becoming a success so fast.

Tobey: Well, it actually wasn't as fast as the public thinks. For a while we kept bombing out of the night clubs in down-town Tyrannia.

K-Jay: It was a real bummer. We felt trapped in this small town, after all this is where Sticks N' Stones originated. How could we live up to there standards?

Tobey: Exactly. So we decided to pack things up and move into Neopia central. That's were we got our first big break. The first night we preformed Lou Poogleman signed us.

In December of last year M*YNCI split with there kong time manager Lou Poogleman and the Shoyru company. After a long court battle, their contract was thrown out by judge Jackson Jubjub.

Q: Why did you first decide to split with the Shoyru company's Lou Poogleman?

Lumpee B: It was really hard to keep up with Lou. He just wanted to much out of us to fast. Everything had to be his way. His time table, he had to approve everything. We just felt it would be better if we parted company.

K-Jay: Yeah, Lou was cramping our style. It was difficult to work under thoes conditions.

Q: It has been said that Mr. Poogleman has been difficult to work with, would you like to add anything of your one?

Tobey: Lets just leave it at difficult. After all, we wouldn't want to upset the Lawyers.

M*YNCI's first two albums have both gone double platinum. Their new single "So, whats up with your friend?" has entered the Neopia billbords top one hundred at number twenty three.

Q: So what does success feel like?

Joejo: It's amazing. I can't believe that we have so many fans. I love it, I couldn't imagine doing anything else. It's unbelievable, the amount of success we have found. I just hope we can keep pleasing the fans.

Gordo: Yeah, I mean I love what we have become. But, lets put all success aside for a minute. I am glad that we can make the fans happy. Even if there were no stadium concerts and we only sold one record, the fact they may have given joy to one person is really the amazing thing.

Q: Wow, that is so soul full. Now can some one tell me what is the meaning of your song "So, What's Up With Your Friend?"

K-jay: Man, how did I know you were going to ask this question? I know on the surface it seems like it's really shallow and egotistic but if you go beneath the surface you'll see it's really a comedic look at the world of dating.

Q: And finally, what would you guys be doing if you weren't pop stars?

Gordo: I think I can answer this one. We would be doing the same ol' thing, trying to make it big.
